Participated in the Data Methods Workshop for Economists at Royal Holloway, University of London, engaging with contemporary approaches to economic data analysis and applied empirical research. The workshop provided an opportunity to strengthen quantitative research skills and engage with researchers and fellow economists on the application of data methods to economic research. I presented my term paper on "Access to Health Insurance and Implications for Healthcare Usage, using Regression Discontinuity Design.
Presented an empirical review of strategies for strengthening local government revenue mobilisation, drawing evidence on property taxation, taxpayer compliance and morale, administrative capacity, and transparency. The presentation synthesised lessons from the literature and highlighted policy options for strengthening own-source revenue mobilisation and local fiscal capacity in Ghana.
Alongside my academic research, I am committed to making economics, quantitative methods and research skills more accessible to students and early-career researchers. Through the Economics Tutorials Channel, I provide educational tutorials covering economics, research methods, data analysis and related academic skills.
